The National Institute of Horticultural Research

The National Institute of Horticultural Research (INHORT) is a leading Polish research institute specialising in horticulture, agroecosystems, and sustainable crop production. Its work combines applied research with practical innovation to support environmentally sound agricultural practices and the conservation of biodiversity in managed landscapes.

Role within ProPollSoil

Within ProPollSoil, the INHORT coordinates expert-based knowledge synthesis on soil–pollinator relationships, including the elicitation and consolidation of expert and Citizen Science opinions on soil-dependent pollinators and their ecological requirements (WP2). INHORT also contributes to analyses addressing knowledge gaps on how soil conditions and management practices affect pollinator biology and functioning (WP4).
